Astaxanthin a powerful antioxidant

Astaxanthin, is not converted to vitamin A  in the human body. Too much vitamin A is toxic for a human as we know, but astaxanthin has lower toxicity.

  • Xanthophyllomyces dendrorhous, formerly Phaffia rhodozyma (yeast)

The Primary natural source for astaxanthin is the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis. It seems to accumulate the highest levels of astaxanthin in nature.

Nearly all commercial astaxanthin for aquaculture is produced synthetically, such products should be avoided, synthetic astaxanthin contains a mixture of stereoisomers,  SO GO FOR THE NATURAL SOURCE.

Research shows that astaxanthin’s potent antioxidant activity, may be beneficial in cardiovascular, immune, inflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases in your body. It  function as a carotenoid antioxidant, research has shown that lycopenes are more efficient antioxidants than carotenoids, also that it has potential as an anti-cancer agent. Research has the assumption that it protects your body tissues from oxidative damage, which of cause is what makes you older and sick.

just as note I take 8-12mg. of Astaxanthin and let it work for 15-30 days then you will feel the effect.
