Watch out what you use as warm up lotion, some also have some eucalyptus and other stuff that also have a kind of cooling to it.
Lotions which works,but im not sure you get that everywhere.
ABC warm creme from Hasaplast
Finalgon warm creme from Boehhringe Ingelheim
another thing if you get to much warm up lotion on, use some normal Creme or olive oil that help to remove the burning.
After your game make 10 min. light jogging, you almost work thats the speed you need to have to loose up your muscles, I would say thats a must after each game
also have a look at Astaxanthin, im making a test if it works against sore muscle, I take 4x4mg a day for a better recovery from sports in my case soccer.
Astaxanthin dont have that big a effect I would say, still I recommend it for health… but to fight sore muscle no. Best thing to do is still very light jog after a game and a hot bath.
