Will we EVER see a Pharma Company make a Cure

For decades we have not seen any real breakthrough in the Pharma industry, means where are the cures, like the good old aspirin or Penicillin. I dont think we will see any cures for a long time, be cause the Pharma industry is not interested in cures anymore, there is no longterm benefits/earnings if you cure a Cancer/heart problems…….
The Only news we see from the Pharma Industry is they can keep one alive or hold down the problem for time to come, never a word “we have a cure”.
Serious when will we see any breakthrough in the Pharma industry.
What do you think or is this just the sites view.
i really dont think we will see any breakthrough any day soon, the companies are just not interested in making a cure, they want to keep bad condition on hold so you have to buy there pills longer and thats what is so difficult, to find a solution where you dont cure, but also dont loose the patient, its so sad.
When have you last heard of a cure for any illness, I can not remember any in my lifetime
